Save image to client browser using jQuery?

| | Html , JQuery

If you want to save an image using jQuery without click the button to get download the image. For that you need to trigger an action.

In my case I am just I am getting the image path and see how I making the image to download on client browser. I got the data from the jQuery ajax call and returning the result.path.

CODE:

  $.ajax({
           type: "POST",
           url: 'Home/IconUpload',
           contentType: false,
           processData: false,
           enctype: 'multipart/form-data',
           data: data,
           success: function(result) {
               varsrc = preview.src.split('/');
               vara = $("<a>")
     .attr("href",result.Path)
     .attr("download",src[src.length - 1])
     .appendTo("body");
              a[0].click();
               a.remove();
           },
