Selecting the page elements on the page will return the JQuery object, not the raw DOM oject. But we can get single DOM object via jQuery get method. $(“div”)[0].
Example:
<html>
<head>
<title>to get raw DOM object from jQuery Object</title>
<script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
(function ($) {
$(document).ready(function () {
var list = $("ol li").get().reverse();
$("ol").empty();
$.each(list, function (i) {
$("ol").append("<li>" + list[i].innerHTML + "</li>");
});
})
})(jQuery);
</script>
</head>
<body>
<h2>7 Continents of The World</h2>
<ol>
<li>South America</li>
<li>North America</li>
<li>Europe</li>
<li>Australia</li>
<li>Asia</li>
<li>Africa</li>
<li>Antarctica</li>
</ol>
</body>
</html>
