In this article I will show you how to implement JavaScript confirm delete yes no. When the user want to delete any record it will ask for the confirmation before operation will happen. To implement you have to set on button or action link onclick event.
Here when the user clicks on the remove button it will call removecart function. There I have written JavaScript code it will ask for the users confirm yes no with message “are you sure want to delete cart?”.
<a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="removecart(this)" data-cartid="@row.CartId" class="btn btn-xs btn-danger my-product-remove">X</a>
function removecart(sndr) {
var alert = confirm("Are you sure want to delete cart?");
if (alert) {
var cartid = $(sndr).attr('data-cartid');
$.ajax({
type: 'GET',
url: '/Home/RemoveCart',
data: { CartId: cartid },
contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8',
dataType: 'json',
success: function (response) {
$("#cart").html(response.cart);
$("#cartcount").html(response.cartcount);
$('.error').text(response.message).fadeIn(400).delay(3000).fadeOut(400);
},
error: function (xhr, ajaxOptions, thrownError) {
}
});
} else {
return false;
}
}
